Building a Bold Fantasy Sports Brand
The Challenge
Knockout Gaming needed a disruptive, fan-first identity that could stand out in the saturated world of fantasy sports. The creative challenge was to reimagine the brand from the ground up — developing a cohesive identity, marketing system, and voice that resonated with competitive gamers while driving engagement and monetization.
My Role
As Creative Director, I led a full-stack marketing and brand transformation — from strategic positioning and visual identity to campaign execution and cross-channel content systems. This included collaboration across product, marketing, and executive teams to unify the brand and drive growth.

1. Discovery
I began with a competitive audit, internal discovery, and deep fan persona mapping to understand our audience’s psychology, pain points, and aspirations.
2. Define
Refined the brand’s position to highlight “True Fans Don’t Just Watch,” pairing emotionally resonant copy with a differentiated tone of voice. Developed key messaging pillars and a scalable visual design system.
3. Design
Built a bold, cohesive identity using expressive typography (Proxima Nova & Trade Gothic), iconography, textures, and a modular chevron motif — all grounded in fan culture. Crafted campaign creative across web, mobile, merch, and social.
4. Launch & Optimize
Rolled out the new identity across platforms, pairing high-impact visuals with authentic, fan-first messaging. Created playbooks for internal and external teams to scale creative with consistency and speed.
